The House St. John's UMC Built
Carolyn Williams challenged St. John's to build a house for a family that really needed a new house. And St. John's stepped up to the challenge. Work began in January 2008 and the house was dedicated in July 2008. These are just a few of the pictures documenting the work that was done.

The original house was infested with termites. It was better to just tear it down and build a new one.

During the dedication, Gearld Poncik, the project supervisor, said that this effort, "...takes what we hear in the pew on Sundays and takes it out into the community."
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
